About us
Who we are.
Green Ferro Alloys Private Limited manufactures ferroalloys at Norbugang Industrial Area in southern Bhutan, with a head office in Phuentsholing. The plant runs two 12 MVA submerged arc furnaces, 24 MVA in total.
What we produce
Silico manganese.
Eight grades, from high carbon through to ultra low carbon and welding flux. Sizing and packaging are set out on the products page.

What we control, end to end.

Eight grades, from high carbon through to ultra low carbon and welding flux. Chemistry is set against each order, and a full specification for any grade is available on request.

Raw material sourcing
Ore and reductants are selected for the grade being produced, with input quality controlled before charging, so each heat starts from a known basis.

Laboratory testing
Every heat is analysed against the tolerances on the order before material is cleared for dispatch, with a certificate referencing the heat and batch numbers.

Sustainability
Furnace off-gas is drawn through a gas cleaning plant before release, keeping particulate emissions controlled at source. Power comes from Bhutan’s hydroelectric grid rather than fossil generation.

Smelted on Himalayan hydropower.
